Hi, I'm Parastoo

My name is Zahra, but everyone calls me Parastoo — “swallow” in Persian: the small bird that crosses borders to follow the season it believes in. It turned out to be a fitting name for someone who left a comfortable life behind to chase a bigger question.

I started as a web developer, learning to turn ideas into things people could actually click, use, and trust. But I kept hitting the same wall — even the best-built product fails if it solves the wrong problem. So I moved to Germany and studied Digital Business Modeling, to understand the “why” behind the “what” I was building.

That’s the space I work in now: where strategy meets the keyboard. I don’t just advise on AI — I build it, ship it, and show teams how to own it. Coming from sales, from development, and from business strategy, I read a problem from all three sides at once — a combination I’ve rarely found in one person, and one I’ve learned to trust.

What keeps me going is curiosity and a simple belief: technology should serve people. I care most about health and education, because a tool that helps someone live healthier or learn better is worth more than a hundred clever demos. I see the world as one global village — and I want to build things that make it a little more open, a little more equal.

Right now I'm building, writing, and learning in the open — looking for meaningful work, whether that's joining a team or partnering with clients. Let's build something that matters, together.
